New York Jets Flight Connections 3/22/21

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Shout out to Mr. Wells for holding down the fort over the weekend as usual. The tenure of Joe Douglas is going to be very big for the predictive future of the Jets. With Jordan Jenkins gone, there are zero members of the 2016 draft class on the team; something that’s inexcusable from any standpoint. It shows how bad former GM Mike Maccagnan was at drafting, which has helped the team become bottom of the barrel for what has seemed like an eternity from a fan’s perspective. To be frank, despite the honeymoon feeling JD has had on fans, his first draft is still very questionable as well. Multiple players were injured, and only Mekhi Becton has shown to be competent enough to be an unquestionably elite player at his position. 2021 will be more than just a rebound with Saleh coming in.
