After a few days of inactivity in free agency, the New York Jets got back into action on Thursday. Three signings were reported.
Jaguars wide receiver Keelan Cole, Chargers offensive lineman Dan Feeney, and Raiders defensive back Lamarcus Joyner are the newest members of the Jets. None of the three is a star. All of the three will carry different roles on the team. Joyner will presumably be a starter. Feeney will back up the interior of the offensive line. Cole’s role is unknown at this point and dependent on other decisions the Jets make with their salary cap, in free agency, and the Draft.
We discuss these signings on today’s podcast. None of the moves is a slam dunk, but some look better than others on paper. We also discuss a couple of the players the Jets lost in free agency on Thursday.
Thanks as always for listening to the podcast.
