New York Jets Flight Connections 3/18/21

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Questions still surround the Jets regarding the future of QB Sam Darnold. Multiple reports suggest that the team is planning to move on from Darnold, but the longer the team waits, the lower Darnold’s value becomes. Theoretically the team could wait until May 3rd (when NFL teams need to decide on picking up 5th-year options), but with a new coaching staff in place that seems unlikely to happen - if Darnold gets traded. Personally, this is my biggest gripe with GM Joe Douglas. I understand not wanting to show your hand to other teams, but you have to imagine a team without a real answer at the QB position will affect offensive players’ persception of the team; and becoming a deciding factor when choosing to sign (if offers are similar to others). Hopefully these questions get answered sooner rather than later, but it’s anyone’s guess right now. With that, here are your links to the Jets to start your morning.
