My favorite time of year, AGOP!!!! This is an extra epic year where we got all the money and tons of picks, so lets see what we can put together. I valued every player using sportsrac.com market value tool and the draft was done with the latest big board rankings on fanspeak.com, I really love my results and hope something like this happens. Hope you like tham too!
Pre Draft Offseason per overthecap.com
Braxton Berrios, WR
Alex Lewis, G
Greg Van Roten, G
Ryan Griffin, TE
All Jags (Josh Doctson, WR Josh Malone, WR Shareef Finch, LB etc)
Brian Poole, CB - 3 years 4.5M/yr (per sportrac.com market value) - he was elite last season at the nickel back slot and younger than kwuan williams which is the next best fa target for this spot, seems like a no brainer to retain at a good price like the 4.5M/year that comes up on sportsrac for his current market value.
Free Agency (all values were determined using sportrac.com market value tool):
Jonnu Smith, TE - 5 year, $8M/year - A big gamechanger for us, becomes the second look on offense and upgrades our TE spot immensely. All the sudden Chris Herndon looks like Ryan Griffin in this offense.
Carl Lawson, DE - 5 year $9M/year - When I saw his market value and age and the fact the Bengals haven't tagged but want to bring back tells me theyre trying to cheap out, we sign to a nice long team friendly contract for an emerging player at a premium position.
Trey Hendrickson, DE - 4 year $10M/year - Looks like outside of Shaq Barrett, the next tier of pass rushers are all around the 9-10M/year mark. We add speed to our defense with Hendrickson and finally have 2 good pass rushers for our new 4-3 defense.
Kenny Golloday, WR - 4 year $17M/year - The receivers are all going to be very expensive this year. Will Fuller set to make 15-16M according to sportsrac and Curtis Samuel around 12-13. We need a no 1 receiver, so we pay a little more to get the only bonafide top option in free agency.
Jamaal Williams, RB - 3 year $3.5M/year fully guaranteed - only non sportrac value based on Mosterts commitee contract w 49ers. Gives us a starter for a committee of backs, like a Raheem Mostert type role, not expensive.
Corey Linsley, C - 3 year $10M/year - Instead of spending 5M more a year on Thuney who is good, but isn't the #1 guard in the NFL, I saved 5 million and went and got us THE #1 graded Center in the NFL. McGovern is moving back to guard officially.
Richard Sherman, CB - 2 year $7M/year fully guaranteed - Sherman gives us a slight discount since he wants to follow Saleh and is seemingly actively recruiting FAs to the Jets. We take him as our CB1 in year one and to coach our younger players at this position who all seemingly have high potential but need proper guidance.
New Cap Number = $23M
Draft done on (fanspeak.com - Jake Rigdon's board difficult)
R1 Pick 2 - Zach Wilson, QB, BYU - I'm all in on Zach Wilson, I may even take over Lawrence in my dynasty league
R1 Pick 23 - Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa - Our most underated need is 4-3LBs, we add this draft's Anthony Barr, except I think Collins has the potential to be even better. This dude is about to be some kind of mix Anthony Barr and Darius Leonard.
R2 Pick 2 - Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia - Here we take best player available, I've seen nothing but 1st round projections with some skeptics thinking he may fall to round 2, if that happens we'll be here to scoop him.
R2 Pick 12 (Sam Darnold Traded to SF) - Sam Cosmi, OT, Texas - After striking a deal with the 49ers for pick 12, we take another lineman that we have a late first round grade on. He should plug right into Right Tackle depending on how much of a fight George Fant puts up for the job.
R3 Pick 2 - Trey Smith, G, Tennessee - PFF's second favorite guard in the draft and my first.
R3 Pick 22 - Javonte Williams, RB, UNC (best player on board by a longshot) - This is the biggest longshot to me but, he fell to us here. I can't pass up my favorite RB in this draft at round 3 pick 22. Maybe in real life Joe trades back from one of those second rounders and lands Jevonte earlier.
R4 Pick 2 - Paris Ford, S, Pittsburgh - A player I have a day 2 grade on, falls to us early day 3. Immediately gives us great depth at SS spot.
R5 Pick 2 - Sage Surratt, WR, Wake Forest, Best player on board adds depth to receiver room. one year removed from a 1000 yard, 11 td season? I'll take it.
R5 Pick 10 - Paddy Fisher, LB, Northwestern - At this point linebacker is our biggest weak spot, I take a team leader type guy who racked up nearly 90 tackles in 9 games. I think he's a late round gem who can come into the league similar to Josey Jewell.
R6 Pick 2 - Marquez Stephenson, WR, Houston - Best and one of the few players left that I recognize. We take a shot on Stephenson and add to our receiver room depth.
In UDFA - look for: a kicker, more off ball linebackers and OL depth

Other than kicker, where are the holes on this roster now? Maybe one of the linebacker spots? Looks like we can use depth in certain areas but I think this is a wildcard team now. Next years draft we have a bunch more picks that can be luxury picks
Hope you enjoyed!!!
