On today’s podcast we take a look at the Jets rookie class of 2020. The team made nine selections in the 2020 NFL Draft. We look today at how they performed in year one and expectations going forward.
I think in general expectations are usually too high for rookies. Most players do not contribute on day one. Outside the first and second rounds you should consider yourself very lucky to have somebody help the team in the first year. As much as drafting is generally viewed as trying to fill holes, it is really about just finding players.
With that in mind, the most important days are ahead for the Jets rookie class. Still we can look at their progress and figure out what they need to accomplish for year two to be considered a success.
