This is expected to be an offseason full of quarterback movement in the NFL. One top tier franchise quarterback, Deshaun Watson, is at the center of trade rumors. Another might be joining him.
The Athletic reports Seahawks superstar quarterback Russell Wilson is unhappy in Seattle. It has gotten to the point where he has focused on potential teams. One of those teams happens to be the Jets.
Russell Wilson’s frustration has led his camp to broach trade destinations with the Seahawks, sources tell The Athletic.

Like the Watson rumors, this will draw considerable attention. However, we are still in a very early stage. Even though we have seen two major trades involving quarterbacks, the offseason has not even officially begun.
History also shows us that acrimony between a player and a team does not always mean a trade is imminent. Even in cases where the two sides eventually part ways, sometimes it is years after the initial discontent was reported. We know just as Houston has every incentive to try and mend its relationship with Watson, the Seahawks have every reason to try and make Wilson happy.
I am sure we will hear more about this in the months ahead.
