Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. First and foremost I’d like to thank you all for the support given to me yesterday pertaining to my situation. It truly means the world and I’m thankful for GGN and the amazing community here. But enough about me.
Carson Wentz was traded from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Indianapolis Colts for a 2021 third-round draft pick and a conditional 2022 second-round draft pick that could turn into a first-rounder. The significance of this for Jets fan is the price tag that came with Wentz; with rumors of trading Sam Darnold gaining traction as time goes on. Yes, Carson had shown MVP-like potential in 2017, but he has essentially been a shell of that ever since. To some, Darnold may have that same untapped potential, and is currently only 23 years old. Darnold may not garner two picks from a trading team, though potentially there could be a first or second-round selection thrown in, which would still be a win for the Jets if they in fact do plan to trade him, in my opinion. With that, here are your links to the team to start your morning off.
