Jets Mailbag: How Good Does a QB Selected at #2 Need to Be?

Today we have our weekly podcast mailbag. As usual we had a stellar group of questions. Thanks for providing them every week. A mailbag episode just doesn’t work unless you get questions. As always I got to as many as I could, but there were more questions than there was time to answer them. Feel free to resubmit unanswered mailbag questions for future shows if you want to hear them answered.

On today’s episode we look at whether drafting a solid but unspectacular quarterback with the second overall pick would get Joe Douglas fired, how the Jets should handle Jamison Crowder, whether the Jets might trade down for Trey Lance, whether there are any positions the Jets should target late in the first round and early in the second round, whether a quarterback drafted at two would be a Week 1 starter, whether JJ Watt could be an option in free agency, and more.

Thanks for listening.
