Jets Podcast: Positional Review of the Defense

Yesterday we took a look at the current state of the Jets offense as we head into the offseason. Today we go to the other side of the ball. Friday’s podcast gives a position by position look at the Jets defense.

As you might imagine with a 2-14 team, a lot of work is needed. The Jets had a below average defense. In 2019 the unit was successful, but there were a lot of factors that made that unsustainable.

At this point I think the defense has more pieces in place than the offense. There are some position groups that look pretty good. Still at the key positions there are glaring needs. On the show today we discuss the good such as defensive line and safety along with the problem areas like edge rusher and cornerback.

Thanks as always for listening to the show. You can subscribe to Locked on Jets where podcasts are found.
