Podcast: Jets Defense No Shows in Indianapolis

The Jets lost last night to the Colts 45-30 dropping their record to 2-6 in 2021. Only four days after a thrilling victory over the Bengals, the team fell back to earth.

The defense was the clear culprit in this game. The Colts scored touchdowns on six of their first seven possessions. On the one they didn’t they drove the ball all the way to the Jets’ two yard line. Through the early stages of the season, the offense got most of the criticism, but since the bye it has become glaringly obvious that this is a defense with major problems.

On today’s podcast I talk about this disappointing performance. I blame the defense. It didn’t matter what happened for the Jets on offense (which played pretty well I thought). You can’t win when you can’t get a stop.
