New York Jets Flight Connections 11/2/21

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. To the surprise of no one, Mike White is a nominee for FedEx’s Air NFL Player of the Week award. White completed 82.2% of his passes for 405 yards and three touchdowns in the Jets surprising upset of the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. He’s competing with Matthew Stafford and Tom Brady to win the award for this week. Given the circumstances of each individual situation, I think White deserves the award over the other two. A backup quarterback against a team that was in first place in its division, and coming out with a win is impressive. Hopefully for the team and fans alike, White is able to carry that magic over into the Thursday game against the Indianapolis Colts. We’ll see how that turns out when we get there.
