The first half of the New York Jets game against the Cincinnati Bengals is in the books, and the Jets trail the Bengals 17 - 14.
In a stunning display of offensive competence, the Jets opened the game throwing the ball all over the place. They marched right down the field against a Bengals defense in disarray, and the Jets scored a touchdown on the first possession of the game for a quick 7 - 0 lead.
From there things went downhill, as the Bengals generated three turnovers on defense and scored 17 unanswered points to go up 17 - 7 at the two minute mark.
The Jets then went on a long march ending in a touchdown pass from Mike White to Braxton Berrios to pull within three points at 17 - 14 at halftime.
A Jets team left for dead last week is actually giving a very good Bengals team all they can handle at the half. Let’s see what the second half brings.
Enjoy the second half everyone.
