Jets head coach Robert Saleh announced to the media on Wednesday that Mike White will start at quarterback for the Jets on Sunday against the Bengals. Recently acquired Joe Flacco will not join the team until Friday for personal reasons. It is unclear whether he will be active against Cincinnati.

If Josh Johnson is the No. 2, Joe Flacco will be inactive Sunday.
Flacco is participating in meetings virtually this week and won't practice until Friday.
In addition to Mosley, LB Jarrad Davis will practice WED as well.#Jets #CINvsNYJ
I don’t know what else to say about this. The Jets shouldn’t be in a situation like this. When so much depends on a recently acquired quarterback rushing to join the team, it’s a sign mistakes were made in the building of the roster. These mistakes were obvious to practically everybody. Unlike finding quality offensive linemen, getting a backup quarterback with some degree of credibility is easy. The Jets just showed no interest in doing it, and now they find themselves in this situation.
All you can do is hope Mike White surprises most of us and looks a lot better than he did in preseason and against New England last week.
