New York Jets Flight Connections 10/19/21

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. After trading away Sam Darnold, many fans were worried that the Jets made the wrong decision. After three weeks in, it looked like it was the wrong decision indeed. The Carolina Panthers and Sam Darnold started off the season hot, beating the Jets in Week 1 and starting the season 3-0. They’ve since lost three straight. Losing Christian McCaffrey has forced Sam Darnold to take charge of the offense. Instead of looking like the changed man we saw in the first three weeks, he looked like the same Sam from his time with the Jets. There can’t be any excuses now considering the roster of that Panthers team - and it seems like the Jets did in fact make the right move by moving on from Darnold.
