The Jets have reached their bye week with a 1-4 record. In some ways this is disappointing. In other ways perhaps it should have been expected. Most of us come up with very optimistic projections before the start of the season, but this team is still very much a work in progress.
On today’s podcast I discuss some of the key lessons through the first five weeks of the season for the Jets. From a purely analytical perspective, this is a nice time for the bye. We have a good idea of where the team is, but there is still plenty of time to fix the issues. It is clear this is not going to be a dream season where the Jets come out of nowhere to make a Playoff run, but there are still things to feel good about and plenty to correct in the weeks ahead.
Thanks for listening.
