The 2021 NFL playoffs kickoff today with a tripleheader. In the first game the Buffalo Bills host the Indianapolis Colts.

The 13-3 Buffalo Bills come into this game red hot, winners of their last six games and nine of their last ten. The Bills offense is peaking at the right time, as they have scored 38 or more points in each of their last three games, including a 56 - 26 drubbing of the Miami Dolphins last week. The Bills boast the #2 offense in the NFL, to go along with the #14 defense. Bills quarterback Josh Allen has blossomed into a superstar in his third year in the league, and the Bills have surrounded him with the talent necessary to shine. If the Kansas City Chiefs weren’t in the AFC, the Bills would probably be favored to go to the Super Bowl this year.

The 11-5 Indianapolis Colts come into this game winners of four of their last five games. The Colts feature a well balanced team, with top 10 units on offense and defense. The Colts offense has rounded into form late this season, having scored 24 or more points in each of their last eight games. With both the Bills and the Colts offenses operating at a high level lately, this game promises some fireworks. Of course, as soon as that is noted, we’ll probably be treated to a low scoring clunker.

It’s the Bills and the Colts kicking off the 2021 NFL post-season. Enjoy the game everybody.
