Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. The NFL has announced that the combine will not take place this year, which puts NFL teams on the edge when looking at prospects for the upcoming draft. This means that teams will have to be much more hyper-focused when looking at other open workout programs and events that are taking place until the NFL draft. With Joe Douglas’ background as a scout and the Jets scouting department basically untouched, it’s his time to shine and show why he was given such praise throughout his career. Douglas will have to do his due diligence in a year that could see plenty of ‘reach’ picks, and plenty of great players falling due to the pandemic.
