The 14-3 Buffalo Bills come into this game off a 27-24 win over the Indianapolis Colts. It was the Bills’ first post-season victory in 25 years. The Bills have now won their last seven games and 10 of their last 11. The Bills offense is peaking at the right time, as they have averaged 36.7 points per game over their last nine games. The Bills boast the #2 offense in the NFL, to go along with the #14 defense. Bills quarterback Josh Allen has blossomed into a superstar in his third year in the league, and the Bills have surrounded him with the talent necessary to shine.
The 12-5 Baltimore Ravens come into this game off a hard fought 20 - 13 win over the Tennessee Titans last week. The Ravens have won their last six games after losing four of their prior five games. The Ravens rely on their ground game to win. The Ravens topped the NFL in rushing yards, rushing attempts and rushing yards per attempt this year. If the Ravens have their way, they will run and run and run some more in this game against a Bills team that struggled to stop the run this year. The Ravens ground game is led by quarterback Lamar Jackson, who rushed for more than 1000 yards for the second year in a row this year. If you can shut down Jackson’s running and make him beat you from the pocket you have a good chance to beat the Ravens.
It’s the Bills and the Ravens in the nightcap of a Saturday divisional round doubleheader. Enjoy the game everybody.
