New York Jets Flight Connections 1/15/21

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Shortly after I submitted the article for today’s Flight Connections, it was announced that the Jets have hired Robert Saleh as the next head coach of the team. Unfortunately, this has led to an obvious shortage of available links for today’s FC as I edited on the fly. On the plus side, the team has a new head coach!

Saleh was a favorite of fans from the start of the coaching search, as he did a tremendous job during his tenure as the 49ers defensive coordinator. It’ll be interesting to see which members are introduced to his staff, and which people he decides to bring over from the 49ers. All in all however, I’m pretty ecstatic with this hire. One thing that we can expect is that the Jets defense will be good once again, and hopefully he provides an offensive staff that can add some fluidity and versatility to its scheme. I’m ecstatic with the hire, and it’ll be interesting to see how things progress going forward. With that, here are your links to the Jets to start your morning off.
