Both coach for teams that played in the Wild Card round yesterday, making today the first day the Jets could speak with them.
Smith is a hot commodity after his work with the Titans offense. He has been in Tennessee since 2011 working his way all the way up from quality control roles to offensive coordinator. He has at least two other interviews for head coaching positions.
Glenn is more of a wild card. A former cornerback with the Jets, he is viewed as a rising star in the coaching profession. Glenn began his post-playing career with the Jets spending two years as a scout before moving to Cleveland as an assistant defensive backs coach for two years. He became the Saints defensive backs coach in 2016.
