On today’s podcast we recap recent Jets news.

Even though they were not participants, the events of the Playoffs this weekend did have an impact on the Jets. Draft order is determined by postseason results. With the Jets owning Seattle’s first round pick, the victory by the Rams over the Seahawks was good news. Seattle’s pick will be 23rd in the first round, which is a bit higher than most of us were expecting.

Interviews for the team’s head coaching search also continued. There were four candidates interviewed between Saturday and Sunday with more to come over the next few days. On today’s show I offer some thoughts on the candidates and on things that actually matter in this search.

Finally I discuss Deshaun Watson a bit and why I don’t think Jets fans should get their hopes up about a potential trade for the Houston quarterback.
