The New York Jets have placed five players on the injured reserve list and re-signed four players to the 53 man roster.

The five players placed on injured reserve are OL Cameron Clark, LB Patrick Onwuasor, WR Jeff Smith, WR Vyncint Smith and DL Jabari Zuniga. These five players will be out a minimum of three games per the new injured reserve rules for 2020.

The four players re-signed to the 53 man roster are OL Josh Andrews, TE Daniel Brown, S Matthias Farley and CB Nate Hairston.

The roster moves leave the Jets with just five wide receivers on the 53 man roster. In addition, Breshad Perriman continues to experience on and off swelling in his knee, and Denzel Mims missed virtually the entire training camp, leaving the Jets shorthanded at receiver for the moment. The moves also leave the Jets one player short of a full 53 man roster, and one player short of a full 16 man practice squad, so it would appear we can expect at least one or two more roster moves before opening day next Sunday.
