Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Shout out to Mr. Wells for holding down the fort over the weekend per usual. The Jets 53-man roster has been finalized, and practice squad filled we officially head into the first week of the NFL season. A handful of this year’s fan favorites didn’t make the 53, but managed to find a home on the practice squad (Lawrence Cager, Lamar Jackson, Javelin Guidry). Without preseason games it’s going to be interesting to see how the games look, and makes one wonder if players that couldn’t make the 53, or were on the bubble, were hurt or helped by the lack of games before the start of the regular season. It’s going to be an interesting first week, and I expect a lot of injuries to plague the league for the first handful of weeks. We’ll see how it goes from there, but it’s going to be interesting hearing the games be played with full intensity without the crowd noise drowning out the hits and language. I for one, am excited. Let’s hope the Jets can have a good year. With that, here are your links to the team this morning.
