New York Jets Flight Connections 9/06/20

NFL: New York Jets-Training Camp Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, GGN! The Jets made their final cuts yesterday and there were no shocking moves. Cutting Jonotthan Harrison, James Burgess, Josh Andrews, Mike White, and/or David Fales might be a bit surprising, depending on your point of view, but hardly shocking. In the end almost all of the guys who made the roster were pretty predictable, and in all likelihood the Jets have several moves still to be made prior to opening day. Several players will likely be placed on injured reserve, opening up additional spots on the 53 man roster. In addition, it will be interesting to see who is signed to the 16 man practice squad tomorrow, as well as what waiver claims, if any, the Jets are able to successfully complete. Until then the roster is still very much a work in progress, with the receiver group and the cornerback group most likely to see some new additions shortly.
