The Jets have until 4:00 pm Eastern this afternoon to cut their roster down to 53 players.

This was a unique training camp. The coaches and front office will need to make their decisions without the benefit of having seen any preseason games. Still they got to see plenty of action in practice, and most of the spots on the roster were set before the Jets began training camp.

We will now watch to see whether there are any surprise cuts. After this we will keep our eye on the waiver wire as the Jets and other teams will have the opportunity to claim players. The practice squad will also start to form.
