The Jets are back on the practice field today as training camp nears its conclusion.
Saturday is cutdown day in the NFL. Roster must be trimmed to 53 by 4:00 pm Eastern tomorrow. I’m not sure how much one practice can sway decisions. Most roster spots were decided before the start of training camp. Still today might be the last chance for players competing for a roster spot to make an impression on the coaching staff.
I don’t think anybody is going to miss training camp. For the Jets it has been injury after injury, especially at the wide receiver position. Hopefully the team got all of its injuries out of the way in camp and will have better luck during the regular season.
