New York Jets Flight Connections 9/26/20

Good morning, GGN! It’s week three of the NFL season and already the Jets are out of it. With the Colts and their number one defense on the schedule this week and pretty much every viable wide receiver on the Jets hurt, the chances of the Jets offense breaking out are ... not so good. It’ll be up to the defense this week and next Thursday. Unfortunately, the defense has been getting torched this year. Ah, what the heck, you never know, right? Maybe Sam Darnold gets red hot. Maybe Lawrence Cager turns into Larry Fitzgerald in his prime. Maybe Philip Rivers throws a boatload of interceptions. Maybe the Jets break a couple of long returns. Maybe La’Mical Perine wrecks the game. Maybe I sprout wings and fly to Venus and discover new life and new civilizations, boldly going where no man has gone before. You never know. That’s about all we got at this point.
