New York Jets Flight Connections 9/23/20

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Remember how I pinpointed the lack of usage the Jets had for Avery Williamson? Well, it turns out after seeing Alec Ogletree getting more snaps than him on Sunday has made him reach his boiling point. Williamson has been a great representative of the Jets since his arrival, even despite his injury last season (which many blame Adam Gase for). Throughout the season, Avery had plenty of social media posts of him in the full Jets attire in some pretty random places. Avery went on the radio yesterday discussing the team and agreed with newly acquired Safety Bradley McDougald’s statement that the team’s practices are basically a representation of what people see on gameday. That is, no one seems to be playing to win. It’s a pretty damning statement at not only Adam Gase, but Gregg Williams as well; and is concerning if you’re the owner. Will it end up forcing Christopher Johnson’s hand? Probably not, but it will be something to moniter going forward. With that, here are your links to the Jets this morning.
