New York Jets Flight Connections 9/18/20

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. The Jets can’t seem to catch a break on the injury front as it now seems that Slot WR Jamison Crowder adds to the list after missing practice yesterday. This would be another huge blow to the offense, as the team is already without starting RB Le’Veon Bell. This is a big year for Sam Darnold, which makes the injuries and lack of talent surrounding him that much more disappointing when trying to evaluate him going forward as it skews a lot of what we’re able to see from the offense. It’s hard to think of an offense with worse talent on it right now than the Jets, and quite frankly I don’t believe there is one. Unfortunately, the defensive side of the ball doesn’t look that much better. Whether or not the team itself wants to admit this season is a wash, the best bet is to hope for a high draft pick while somehow being able to evaluate players correctly going forward.
