The report has some good news and bad news. Wide receiver Jamison Crowder’s status is the bad news. Crowder was limited in practice on Wednesday with a hamstring injury. He missed Thursday’s practice completely. As much as we focus on a player’s status for a day, their trajectory over the course of the week might be more important. Crowder moved in the wrong direction.
In better news, a couple of rookies moved in the right direction. Mekhi Becton, who was limited with a knee injury on Wednesday, was a full participant in Thursday’s practice. La’Mical Perine, who suffered a training camp ankle injury, was a limited participant in practice on Thursday. He might get an opportunity if he is good enough to play on Sunday with Le’Veon Bell out.
The final injury report of the week will be released tomorrow.
