The Jets suffered injuries to running back Le’Veon Bell and linebacker Blake Cashman on Sunday. Yesterday Adam Gase provided an update on their status.
Adam Gase says ILB Blake Cashman (groin) and RB Le'Veon Bell (hamstring) could both miss a couple of weeks.

'I don't want to put a timetable on them... Time will tell.'
It certainly doesn’t sound encouraging for either player.
Bell was looking for a bounceback year, while Avery Williamson’s injury and CJ Mosley’s opt out cleared the way for Cashman to get the opening day start. It didn’t last long.
I hate to be that guy, but at this point you have to wonder whether Bell’s injury will have a major impact. His first season with the Jets was unproductive, and he was not all that effective during Sunday’s game aside from one big play in the passing game.
For Cashman questions will linger about his durability. That was likely what led him to fall to the fifth round of the NFL Draft last year. His first season ended with an injury, and this year begins with another after three snaps.
