The 2020 season got off to an ugly start for the New York Jets on Sunday in Buffalo. They were defeated by the Bills 27-17, and that score is deceptive. This was a thorough domination by Buffalo. The only reasons the score looked respectable were some errors by the Bills and a late Jets touchdown drive against a prevent defense after the game was already out of reach.
On today’s podcast I offer my thoughts. There wasn’t enough time in the show to talk about everything that went wrong so I had to stick to the key points. The coaches clearly did not have the team ready to play. The quarterback saw his third year get off to an alarmingly poor start. The defense failed to execute to the point where one key starter was benched in the second quarter of his debut. There just wasn’t much good to say.
Thanks for listening.
