The Jets kick off the 2020 season on Sunday. Few in the media are expecting big things from the team this season, but fans are much more optimistic.
Today I present our first SB Nation Reacts confidence rating of the new season. Each week we ask Jets fans their view on the team and larger NFL issues. (This used to be called FanPulse. It has a new name this year.)

75% of Jets fans who answered the poll expressed confidence in the team’s direction. That is a vast improvement from where we left off last year. At the end of the 2019 regular season only 11% of Jets fans had confidence.
The numbers have fallen a bit over the last few months, however. Immediately after the NFL Draft the rating was 89%. Perhaps all of the injuries in training camp made some Jets fans nervous about the start of the season.
We will provide updates to show how confidence rises and falls throughout the season.
