The Jets continued to make roster moves yesterday. The most prominent of these was the release of wide receiver Quincy Enunwa. A 2014 sixth round pick, Enunwa had been plagued by injuries. After suffering a second neck injury in two years in the 2019 opener, it isn’t clear whether he will ever play again. Because of the poor structure of his contract, the deal gave the Jets maximum pain. The team will end up paying Enuwna over $20 million for -4 receiving yards.
On today’s podcast we talk about the Enunwa news. We also discuss the future of the franchise. The events of the last week have probably made success for the Jets in 2020, but the team is in position to make big improvements in the years ahead. On the show we look at some of the opportunities the team will have.
Thanks as always for tuning in to the podcast.
