The Jets have activated cornerback Bryce Hall from the COVID-19 list. The team has also waived running back Pete Guerriero.
In addition to acquiring RB Kalen Ballage, the #Jets have activated rookie CB Bryce Hall from the COVID-19 list and released RB Pete Guerriero.

Hall was a fifth round pick from Virginia. Many analysts viewed him as a day two talent, but he suffered a season ending ankle injury last fall that led to surgery. The pandemic prevented in person visits for prospects prior to the Draft, which might have hurt his stock since teams could not give him medical examinations. The Jets’ cornerback situation is unclear at the moment. There is a camp battle for one outside corner job, but one wonders whether it is too late in camp for Hall to get into the mix.
The trade for Kalen Ballage likely meant the end for Guerriero who had just signed this week. Just a few days later he is gone. Guerriero already had an uphill battle signing late in camp and joining a crowded backfield.
