The Jets are back on the practice field this morning as training camp continues at the team facility in Florham Park, New Jersey.
The Jets had an intense practice on Sunday. It saw the first fights of training camp. Of course that is not unusual for training camp. Tempers can flare at times.
The Jets were hit by a few more injuries at camp over the weekend. Chuma Edoga suffered a calf injury. Edoga is not projected to be a starter, but he could end up playing an important role. At this point he appears to be the swing tackle, the primary backup at both left tackle and right tackle. This player can have a major outcome on a team’s season.
Breshad Perriman is also dealing with a knee injury. It doesn’t sound serious, but the Jets can’t like having another receiver miss practice time.
