Jets backup offensive lineman Conor McDermott suffered a knee injury in Wednesday’s training camp practice.
OL Conor McDermott goes down hard during team drills. Pounds the grass in obvious pain. Not sure if it’s leg/ankle. Is able to get up and walk, but heads straight inside with trainers. #Jets

Jets T Conor McDermott left today's practice with a knee injury. He will get an MRI later today.

Just to be clear we are talking about backup offensive lineman Conor McDermott whom the Jets claimed off waivers from Buffalo last year, not former Broncos center Connor McGovern, the 2020 Jets free agent signing.
Manish Mehta provided a concise injury report in a tweet.

Backup tackle Conor McDermott will have MRI today after hurting knee in practice.
CB Brian Poole (dehydration) was out again today. He'll be eased back with sideline work. BP had similar issues last summer.
DNP: Mims, Desir, Burgess, Clark, Kaufusi
Mims, Desir, and Poole project as starters out of that group. Mims and Desir are both recovering from hamstring injuries while Poole has missed multiple practices due to dehydration.
Yesterday head coach Adam Gase indicated that Mims is currently “week to week.”
No real update on rookie WR Denzel Mims (hamstring), except that Adam Gase seemed to put him in the "week to week" categoty.

“It’s hard to rush a guy back when his whole job is to run," Gase said.
