Jets Podcast: Tight End Preview

Today we continue our positional preview podcast series. We move to the tight end position.

In the years I have been watching the Jets there have been some positions the team has been unable to adequately fill. Maybe they find an effective player for a year or two, but in the long run there are always problems. Punter is one of those positions. Safety is another. Tight end is yet another.

There is at least some hope on the horizon for the Jets at tight end as Chris Herndon returns to the lineup this year. Herndon had a lost 2018 season where suspension and injuries limited him to a single game. Herndon has Ryan Griffin, Trevon Wesco, Daniel Brown, and Ross Travis behind him.

On today’s show we talk about the state of the tight end position for the Jets and expectations for the 2020 season.

Thanks as always for listening.
