According to reports the Jets have activated Shyheim Carter off the reserve/COVID-19 list and released Ahmad Gooden.

Rookie DB Shyheim Carter was activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list.
LB Ahmad Gooden, who had been on the reserve/COVID-19 list for a couple weeks, was cut.
Carter is a defensive back out of Alabama who signed as an undrafted free agent.
Gooden is a linebacker who played in college at Samford. He signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent last season and spent most of the year with Denver before being waived in December. The Jets signed him to their practice squad for the last few weeks of the 2019 and then to a reserve/future contract after the season.
