Jets Podcast: Summer Memories

This is generally the quietest stretch in the NFL calendar. In the summer period prior to training camp, little tends to happen. Occasionally there is a significant signing or trade that happens in the summer months. These moves sometimes have a big impact on a team in a positive way. Sometimes these signings end up disappointing.

On today’s podcast I think back to some of the most significant Jets moves that came in the summer. Some of these moves happened just before the start of training camp. Others happened after training camp actually began. Some ended up being successful. Others were not.

Today I recall Pete Kendall, Ty Law, Brett Favre, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ryan Kalil, and the entire 2011 offseason. There were success and failures. There were good seasons and bad.
