New York Jets Flight Connections 7/29/20

Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. A day after Jets’ GM Joe Douglas was on a conference call, Jets’ Head Coach Adam Gase followed up with his own the next day. Gase touched on a plethora of topics including the team, and of course, the Jamal Adams situation. Gase took the high road to no surprise, and I’m interested in seeing how he handles the team going forward. Speaking of the team, a couple of players have been designated to the Covid-19 reserve list, while another player became the first Jet to officially opt out of the season. Hopefully the Jets don’t lose too many players to opting out, but it’s not like you could fault them if they did. Despite being elite athletes many players in the NFL are considered ‘high risk’, so it’s understandable that they are taking the proper precautions going forward (something the NFL absolutely needs to start doing considering the troubles MLB has been going through). But with that, here are your links to the team to start your day off.
