Jets Podcast: Training Camp Storylines to Follow

Today veteran players are scheduled to report to training camp for the Jets and teams across the league.

On today’s podcast I talk about some of the major things to watch in training camp for the Jets. Some of them are things we expect in any training camp. Can the Jets avoid injuries. I think a team has generally had a successful camp if no key contributors get hurt. Additionally how will players returning from injury fare? Who will win position battles? The Jets have a number, and a new one has emerged after the Jamal Adams trade. What are the specifics of playing time? (Will Mekhi Becton start at left tackle or right tackle as a rookie? Will Le’Veon Bell’s backup see a lot of touches or only play when the starter needs a rest?) Finally, how will teams adapt to changes brought by the COVID-19 pandemic such as the cancellation of preseason?

Thanks for listening.
