The first time I heard this song, I thought it was from one of those animated, Day-of-the-Dead type movies like Coco or The Book of Life. It wasn't, but it stuck with me. It's from Disturbed, and if you've ever heard any of their music, you'll know that it is very different from their normal sound.
The world is changing. The global pandemic is changing everyone's lives. On top of that, there are a number of things changing in my own life that means things will never be the same as they were before: my parents are aging faster than I would like; my dad's memory failing a little more every day. My long-time significant other was offered a buyout package from work and may be leaving the company he's worked at for the past 30 years. His oldest son is getting married in a few short months. So listening to the words of this song makes me sad sometimes, but it is a good reminder to remember the good memories we've collected throughout our lives.
Now, the rules of the TAN.
