Braden Mann out of Texas A&M was thought by many to be the best punter in college football. He has a powerful leg, having averaged 48.9 yards per punt for his college career. He was an All American punter in 2018 and won the 2018 Ray Guy award, leading the nation in yards per punt that year. Mann also is a willing and effective tackler if needed on punt returns.
Mann immediately becomes the favorite to win the Jets punting job out of training camp, if for no other reason than he is the only punter on the Jets roster.
