New York Jets Flight Connections 7/17/20

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. With some teams expecting players to start reporting for camp in the near future, it seems the NFL and NFLPA have reached an impasse as to what will happen in a season affected by Covid-19. It’s interesting that these debates are going on now, when the NFLPA and NFL had discussions regarding a new CBA only 4 months ago, when the pandemic started hitting parts of the U.S. hard. At this point it’s hard to feel sorry for either party. They’ve both shown themselves to be overwhelmingly greedy, and completely out of touch with the average fan (more so than ever). I would be shocked if a season doesn’t happen, but I wouldn’t be as shocked to see a bunch of ‘scabs’ come in during the season. The NFL will be forced into a position of desperation if they can’t have a season, and if players are worried about money now they wouldn’t be able to fathom the repercussions of what could potentially happen.
