New York Jets Flight Connections 6/9/20

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. It seems we’ve hit a snag on actual stories lately, which is normal considering the time of the year. Given that a lot of things are up in limbo, it’s even less surprising. But it’s kind of amazing how many ‘All-Time Great’ articles are written about the Jets, considering how bad the team has been for the majority of their existence. It isn’t like there will be any surprises whatsoever. This, along with ‘Mount Rushmore’ stories seem relatively lazy and played out after the first one exists. But don’t worry, Kristian Dyer of Sports Illustrated (and others) have made sure that there’s plenty of that type of material to look over. This isn’t a shot at him but more at how cyclical NFL stories are based on the success of the franchise. Every year during the off-season it seems as if these same stories are pushed out to generate debate, but when you look at the team you realize there isn’t much debate at all.
