Over the last few days there has been plenty of speculation about Jamal Adams’ future with the Jets. Adams has been trying to force a trade. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says the Jets are not inclined to make a move at this time.
From NFL Now: #Jets S Jamal Adams has a list of 8 teams he'd want to be traded to without needing a new deal, even while he has demanded an extension from his current team. Either way, expect NYJ to stand pat and let this play out. pic.twitter.com/GFwsmMApuv

Adams’ future with the Jets remains anything but clear. He has expressed his desire for a trade, but it doesn’t sound like the Jets are willing to provide it.
This saga will likely have many more turns until Adams either signs a long-term extension with the Jets or finds a new team through a trade (or signing after his contract expires in a few years).
Based on his vocal desire for a trade, it seems unlikely Adams will quietly accept the Jets keeping him. Many fans are hoping for a quick resolution to this situation, but it does not sound like they will get it. This will continue to dominate the discussion around the Jets for the foreseeable future.
