Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. The day should be even better if you’re a Jets’ fan knowing that the team has freed some cap space this year from the Trumaine Johnson cut. Johnson was one of many terrible contracts handed out by previous GM Mike Maccagnan, and personally was the worst one in my opinion given that every advanced metric would tell you that Trumaine was just not a good football player. While Johnson will still have a cap hit in 2021, this is a short-term move that can provide the team some flexibility this year. Whether or not the team decides to use it or not is still up in the air, as GM Joe Douglas could easily let that money go into the following year. Hopefully Joe Douglas is much more frugal with his contract negotiations going forward. With that, here are your links to the team to start your morning off.
