The signing of picks after the first round is a mere formality. The terms of the deal are largely set. There isn’t much to negotiate.
Mims is the second Jets pick from 2020 to agree to his rookie contract. Fifth round pick Bryce Hall was the first. The Jets still have seven rookies to get under contract, including first round pick Mekhi Becton.
