Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Earlier in the week it was reported that the Jets have decided to move on from John Mellody, their head athletic trainer. Though he wasn’t exactly fired (he was moved to a consulting position in the organization), it’s interesting to see the team move on from him. Mellody held that position on the team for over a decade, and for a while it seemed that he and his staff were held in high regard around the league. It’s reported that the latest change was due to the influx of injuries the Jets suffered last year, as well as a multitude of lingering injures hindering players from getting back into action. Mellody was replaced by his assistant, so maybe the position change was due to a clash with HC Adam Gase. Who knows, but we can sure speculate. With that, here are your links to the team to start your morning off.
